One of the symptoms of the Angelman Syndrom is constant smiling. Basically, Kasia smiles around 80% of the time!

On one hand – it’s a good thing as people are usually kinder to a smiling trouble-maker ;) On the other hand – try smiling all the time. It ain’t easy!

Angelman Syndrom is a genetic disease which entails developmental delays, incoherence of movement and ADHD.

30% of kids don’t speak, the rest use single words. Kasia is still in the first group. She doesn’t speak, which absolutely doesn’t mean she has nothing to say. Sometimes she has a bit too much to say, which she manifests by demolishing things (or trying hard to demolish them by throwing things, tearing them, biting, breaking them ;) 

Kasia will sometimes say: „MAMA” and „BABA” 

At the moment, I am glad that Kasia appeared on the Internet. Now she also has somewhat of a social-media profile, maybe not on Instagram, Facebook, Tik Tok, Twitter, but, she is here and exists in the virtual world.
